UnXpected is the “New” Old School…This is a group that has been consistent in delivering a quality performance whenever they hit the stage. They are some of the best live entertainer’s and recording artists in the Midsouth. They have shared the stage with such artist as; The Bar-Kays, The Manhattans, J. Blackfoot, Lakeside, and at one point in time were the background singers for Archie Love, who produced their new CD at Loveland Records. Unxpected specializes in Motown, Stax, R&B, Blues and Soul, and identifies with acts like The Temptations, The Delfonics, The O’Jays, just to name a few!

I recently got married and for my reception I wanted some classic entertainment. Before the wedding I was out with some friends one night on Beale St.We stopped by BB Kings and to our surprise there was this amazing group performing, called UNXPECTED! They totally captivated the crowd with their vocals and choreography. Needless to say I had to hire them, for my reception which made the event complete! I would recommend them to anyone having a special event! Again thanks UNXPECTED!!!
Prior to my retirement, my staff organized a retirement gala in my honor. It was a night to remember by all. The highlight of the night was a special performance by this group named UNXPECTED! Their name alone said it all. These guys blew me away! With me being a lover of " old school r & b", this group delivered the goods!!!
We were recently honored at the Just Blues Awards @ The Horseshoe Casino in Tunica Ms. Many artist paid tributes to us, ( The Manhattans), that night.
